THE IDEA
Most restaurant brands become diluted as they grow. Expansion often strips away personality, turning distinctive concepts into polished but forgettable chains. Pizzana approached growth differently.
The goal wasn’t simply awareness. It was building a brand world people wanted to participate in. One rooted in modern Italian culture, hospitality, irreverence, and the kind of energy that extends far beyond the food itself.
BRAND SYSTEM
The identity system pulled heavily from vintage Italian graphics, travel ephemera, old-world typography, and hospitality culture, then reinterpreted them through a louder, more contemporary lens. Bold color, playful illustration, layered typography, and expressive layouts created a system designed to feel energetic, social, and unmistakably Pizzana.

Physical touchpoints became a major part of how the brand lived in the real world. Menus, pizza boxes, merchandise, in-store graphics, signage, and printed materials were designed to feel playful, collectible, and deeply embedded in the larger personality of the brand rather than purely functional.

Cacio Club was designed to feel less like a rewards program and more like an invitation into the culture surrounding the brand. Through campaign creative, merchandise, packaging, and digital experiences, the system leaned into exclusivity, humor, and personality, turning loyalty into something customers genuinely wanted to identify with.
